Provides a comprehensive program for hospitality, fellowship, community building and communication within our church, including new member engagement.

Provides a comprehensive program of care, support and encouragement to all members in times of illness, bereavement, and/or crisis and also celebrates with members in times of joy.

Provides vision and direction for the faith development ministries at the church, including the following special areas of focus: Christian education, spiritual formation and discipleship for all ages, small group ministry, and adult educational events.

Combines Stewardship, Endowment, Finance Committees into one umbrella Ministry, including Annual Operating Campaign, Capital Campaign, Planned Giving, Endowment, Finance and other related Culture of Giving responsibilities.

Provides expertise and guidance to the church in all areas of the human resources function to assure that MPBC staff and the financial resources that support the staff are utilized in a manner that complies with and advances the workplace culture, values and strategies of the church.

Nominates, recruits and trains members for all leadership positions:  Deacons, Ministries, etc.  Manages the Deacon Nominating process and Deacon Chair-Elect Nominating process.  Also includes training and development of potential leaders and facilitation of member involvement and establishment of Servant Leader Groups.

Identifies opportunities for the church to provide support and service to those in need within and outside our community and coordinates the delivery of both financial and in-person support and service to individuals and entities identified as needing support.

Manages the property, buildings, facilities, landscaping and physical assets of the church, including equipment, food service, supplies, technology, etc. and long range facilities planning.

Works with Staff to encourage and support all aspects of worship, including music, communion, baptism, ushering, acolytes and other worship components.
