Outreach Work at Myers Park Baptist Church

Shelter and Homelessness

Host our homeless neighbors for a meal and night of shelter with Room In The Inn or Family Promise.  Become involved with one of partner community agencies.

Room In The Inn
urbanministrycenter.org
Every Saturday night, December through March, MPBC hosts 15 of our our homeless neighbors: men, women, children and/or families. Volunteers set up and make beds, drive the church van with our neighbors to and from the Urban Ministry Center, make/serve/share an evening meal, serve as overnight hosts, make sack lunches and provide hospitality for those who have no place to call home.
