Children’s Choir

Choir time is a time and a place where boys and girls can experience God through music.  This means that our directors and teachers intentionally make plans for this to happen!  Singing is our main activity, and cooperative teamwork is our goal.  Other musical activities include playing instruments, moving to music, reading music, creating music, learning how to share music with others, and activities that develop a keen listening skill.  We present these activities in a fun, engaging way, so children can experience the joy of music-making.

We also prepare our children to lead in worship.  It is important that they see how much they are valued as a part of the community.  All of the songs, hymns and anthems are carefully chosen to teach scripture, bible stories and to enhance the worship experience.
