We’re honored so many parents want their children and youth to be a part of our church.
Yes, we have the usual classes and activities for children and youth found in a religious institution of our size, but that’s not what parents tell us is most important. Love and acceptance is their top priority, and our member families know that every child will be immersed in the life-enhancing power of God’s unconditional love, regardless of their age, race, orientation or economic background.
Each year, on Senior Sunday, we regularly have our high school graduates speak of growing up in a church environment where they felt safe to be themselves, without fear of condemnation. They intend to bring this experience of compassion and support to those who suffer injustice, rejection, or inequality. They want to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
